Our Family Services Department provide Spokane families with a respectful and supportive continuum of services that empower parents to fulfill their own goals to ensure that they can provide safety and encouragement their children need to grow into their full potential.

We provide programs that serve low-income, at risk families who are striving to make financial security, family stability, healthy relationships and educational success a reality.

 Emergency assistance with rent, utilities, school supplies and other basic needs
 Computer and internet access on a flexible schedule to adapt to family need

Senior Program
 Provides emotional, social, physical and educational activities focused around the needs
of older adults
 We provide a welcoming, inclusive environment where seniors can enjoy warm friendships, healthy activities, joyful experiences and meaningful engagement as they age.

MLK Food bank
 The food bank provides nutritional foods to families in need.
 Food bank provides healthy foods and nutrition education. The food bank distributes over $600,000 lbs. of food a year.

Community Court
Community court is a neighborhood- focused court that attempt to harness the power of the justice system to address local problems. Community court strives to engage outside stakeholders such as residents, merchants, churches, and schools in new ways in an effort to bolster public trust in justice and test new approaches to reduce both crime and incarceration.
