Programs offer a range of activities intentionally designed to encourage learning and development outside the typical school day yet aligned with the school day goals and objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img src=\"https:\/\/mlkspokane.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/18446633_1324973400930823_2462317051551391973_n-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-108 size-medium\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mlkspokane.org\/?page_id=52\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mlkspokane.org\/?page_id=52\">E.C.E.A.P.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is a free preschool program for eligible children and their families. ECEAP focuses on the well-being of the whole child by providing nutrition, health, education, and family support services. The goal of ECEAP is to help<br>all children enter kindergarten ready to succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>ECEAP provides:<br>\uf0b7 Early childhood education in full-day or extended-day classrooms.<br>\uf0b7 Social and emotional development<br>\uf0b7 Nutritious meals and snacks<br>\uf0b7 Health screenings and connections to medical, dental, and mental health services,<br>\uf0b7 Family support services<br>\uf0b7 Parent education and leadership opportunities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/mlkspokane.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/64697301_2263962133698607_5396860556156076032_n-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-120 size-thumbnail\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mlkspokane.org\/?page_id=50\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mlkspokane.org\/?page_id=50\">F.A.M.E.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Fulfillment- Achievement- Maturity- Enrichment Program (FAME)<br>FAME is an after-school program for children K-6 grade who attend Grant, Sheridan or Franklin elementary schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>FAME provides:<br>\uf0b7 Homework Assistance- to help improve academic performance<br>\uf0b7 Health and Nutrition- USDA approved snacks are provided<br>\uf0b7 Best Practices- additional curriculums that teach the essential social skills such as problem-solving, emotional management, impulse control, and empathy<br>\uf0b7 Enrichment Activities- ability to participate in non-academic programs (i.e.) field trips, gardening, dance classes, cooking classes, and art classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/mlkspokane.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/67153578_2286687728092714_8871394549210021888_n-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-130 size-medium\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mlkspokane.org\/?page_id=54\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mlkspokane.org\/?page_id=54\">S.Y.A.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Summer Youth Academy (SYA)<br>SYA is a structured 8-10-week summer program designed to serve youth between the ages of 3-12. SYA provides an interactive learning environment designed to build self-esteem and promote diversity and cultural awareness. The program offers recreational activities and community service opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"300\" height=\"162\" src=\"https:\/\/mlkspokane.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/20200924_154335-300x162.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-640 size-medium\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">Teen Technology Center<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Teen Tech Center<br>The Teen Tech Center is a safe comfortable &amp; engaging space for teens ages 13-17. The Tech Center offers teens free, year round hands on technology access &amp; education. The Teen Tech Center bridges the digital divide by giving youth access to tech education opportunities, relationships that help build confidence and a foundation for school &amp; career success.
